Hrafnhildur studied art at MHÍ one year and took several courses at the Reykjavik School of Art, with courses in Art 1978-79 at Flensborg. She also attended painting courses with many artists such as Þuríður Sigurðardóttir, Myrman Þorgrím Andra Soffíu Sæmundsdóttir, and others, along with online courses. Hrafnhildur has been practicing painting for about 15 years, and it can also be said that she has learned a considerable amount from her father, the artist Gísli Sigurðsson. She was raised with this from a very young age. Hrafnhildur primarily paints with oil on canvas, creating Landscapes, Animal Paintings, Seascapes, and all kinds of fantasies... Hrafnhildur has a studio in Kópavogur.Hrafnhildur is also an "exhibition designer" which is a two-year design program, educated at the Technical School in Hafnarfjörður and holds a technical drawing degree from the Technical School in Reykjavik, along with a high school diploma from Flensborgarskóli.
